Signatures and Gifs

I've noticed many people here on DCC love putting gifs into their signatures and profiles, which is fine, but not usually the best for someone trying to let's say concentrate on reading a long post. The most common solution is that people usually just ignore people's signatures, but that isn't the best permanent solution because people change their signatures.

Anyways this is getting long, the best solution I found is a browser extension called Animation Policy by Google. it gives you the option to allow all animations (gifs), let them run once, or not at all. It's very simple and easy to use: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/animation-policy/ncigbofjfbodhkaffojakplpmnleeoee?hl=en

If you use a browser other than Chrome (Why?) or want more information this is a good article about it. Now I can finally unblock those two dozen signatures :P
