What did you have for lunch today?

I haven't eaten yet, but I am really craving some fettuccine Alfredo.

I didn't have a lunch, but I had a huge breakfast since I stayed the last night at my best friend's house. That consisted of bacon, a fried bologna and egg sandwich, cottage cheese and white grapes. She spoils me 😂

Well, actually they're green. Just called white grapes. :)

Also I just remembered I also had a green apple just add to it. 😂

My mom tried something new today - egg biryani. It was pretty good.

During Lent, we don't eat meats so I survive on fish, eggs and veggies.

With all due respect, isn't fish technically meat though?

Good question lol.

There are multiple answers I have for this. But primarily because I need some protein.

Also, when it comes to fasting for Lent, a lot of people don't consider fish as "meat" when they say they are abstaining from meat. I guess this is because of cultural reasons more than scientific ones. Like I think the Bible considers "flesh of beasts" and "flesh of fish" as two different things. Though it also considers "flesh of birds" differently, I'm not eating chicken either :P

In the end, I'm observing the fast voluntarily so I decided what to give up.
