Archduke Waffle 128
For those of you who don't know, I'm an aspiring pharmacist at the moment. I've attended seminars and met with guidance counselors at my local university's college of pharmacy, and I'm set to enter the program some time in the next few years. The only real problem is money. So I've considered making the commitment to join the air force after school. They'll pay for half of pharmacy school and a monthly stipend in exchange for a three year service commitment. Has anyone else ever seriously considered joining the military in exchange for schooling? If so, did you go through with it?
Savage Rxse 22
I've considered it many times. I decided against joining the military because of my health issues that would keep me from joining anyway.

But I was interested in completing my undergrad in the US a few years ago and in my research, found out about a ton of scholarships available (based on SAT scores and/or GPA). Unfortunately, most of those weren't applicable to international students so I had no means of financing a US education. But maybe they might be a feasible option for you? (I'm assuming you're a US Citizen) Also some colleges offer need-blind aid to American citizens.
