Gramps 2,227
The obvious answer is C but I'm checking out this language called Rust right now. Any others y'all can think of? https://www.rust-lang.org/
Conan Edogawa 837
Ruby is somewhat efficient for this. https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/B2G - This guy made a Python-Ruby OS though it is meh in details and speed.
Gramps 2,227
I keep meaning to get into Ruby. I intend to use it for Rails but if it can also do some low level, OS-related things that'd be cool. The OS project you linked to is extremely fascinating and I'm reading more on it now.
